Goals, activities, and expected results
Given the increasing demands for the development of high-value-added products (incorporating new raw materials, new blends, or possessing new functionalities) and the absence of domestic offerings of this type of product, Polopique Comércio identified the opportunity to develop new textile yarns tailored to the international demand profile and with clearly distinctive characteristics in the market.
Therefore, the current investment project involves the pioneering installation of state-of-the-art equipment for yarn production in the new spinning unit of Polopique Comércio to manufacture innovative products.
In this context, with the completion of the current investment project, the company will advance the established state of the art in continuous yarn production, representing a fundamental change to the overall production process compared to the pre-existing state and an increase in the capacity of its facility.
