AEP Takes textile companies to Canada, Romania, and Poland

AllCost, Neiper Home, LS Malhas, Polopiqué, Lumatex, and Têxteis Penedo are the national textile companies participating in two business missions between March 3 and 9. These missions are taking place in Canada, Romania, and Poland and are promoted by AEP, thus diversifying its commitment to internationalization.

This multisectoral business mission by AEP – Portuguese Business Association takes place over a week in Montreal and Toronto, Bucharest, and Warsaw, hosting the companies involved in the two missions in a program that includes previously scheduled meetings tailored to the profile and objectives defined by each participating company, with local partners (importers, distributors, and business agents).

Regarding AllCost, Neiper Home, LS Malhas, and Polopiqué, their mission is focused on the Canadian market. On the other hand, Lumatex, Têxteis Penedo, and also Neiper Home are focused on the Romanian and Polish markets.

It is worth noting that today, March 4, in Romania, AEP is signing a cooperation agreement with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest, aiming to join efforts to boost and increase cooperation and economic, trade, and investment relations.

“The first business mission of AEP to Canada was in 2010, to Romania in 1996, and to Poland in 1997, and AEP’s objective in promoting these missions remains to provide companies with a better understanding of the business environment of the markets and to establish contacts with the business reality and various operators. Indeed, after so many years, the challenge of AEP missions continues to be to find the right local partners for the companies that accompany us,” said the chairman of the AEP Board of Directors, Luís Miguel Ribeiro, in a statement.
